I started Tyne Dogs after graduating from University with a BSc in Animal Management. This course was ideal for me as I have been passionate about animals my entire life. I have a lifetime of experience with many different species, most notably; Dogs, Cats, and Rodents. During my time at University, I gained some much needed experience with many different species. These include:

• Various Reptile Species
• Mongoose and Meerkats
• Racoons
• Skunks
• Ferrets
• Birds of Prey as well as Birds of Paradise
• Armadillos
• Marmosets
• Various livestock animals (Cows, Goats, Donkeys, Chickens, Geese, and Pigs)
• Many fish species (Tropical, Marine, and Cold water)

As well as having experience with exotic animals, I do have a lifetime of experience with domestic animals and gained qualifications in the form of canine and feline behaviour. On a personal level, I have owned dogs and cats my entire life. The dogs have been various breeds from Rottweiler, Doberman, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Chihuahua.

I understand many people are hesitant to walk 'difficult' dogs. However, I have plenty of experience with dogs who are reactive to certain triggers, such as other dogs or people so this would not be a problem. I am also a firm believer in positive reinforcement and I NEVER use negative force on any animal. I will always follow the practices and procedures of The Animal Welfare Act.

Why Tyne Dogs?

I am 100% dedicated to animal welfare and understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your pets, so I offer a free consultation. This allows me to answer any questions you may have, as well as a meet greet with your pet(s) before you commit to any of the services I offer.

I also have full public liability insurance and all keys when not in use will be securely stored.
